The Minister of Finance also commented on the return of the 5% value-added tax on food items, which will come into effect on April 1. “Once upon a time we had to go back to an increased VAT rate. There is no point in postponing it to “every day”. I am convinced that there will never be a better moment and that price increases will be moderate. There will be no jump in food prices” – confirmed Andrei Domansky.
Evaluating the implementation of the 100 electoral goals set, the Prime Minister admitted that the reason why this hypothesis cannot be implemented in the coming years is the level of budget expenditures resulting from the international situation and the serious threat to military security in our region.
