The semi-finals of the Fortuna 1 Liga qualifiers are behind us. We already know which teams will face in the final. These would be KKS Kalisz and Stal Stalowa Wola. The meeting that will decide promotion to a higher league is scheduled to be held on June 1.
In the first semi-final on Thursday, KKS faced Polonia Bytom at home. The home team achieved a modest 1-0 victory. Hubert Sobol scored the winning goal. And let us remind you that the Kalish team finished the regular season in fifth place in the table.

Stal Stalowa Wola, fourth after 34 rounds, played against Chojniczanka Chojnice at their home stadium. The most important moments of this match were in the second half. Staal took the lead in the 60th minute of the game. Damien Urban scored a free kick. Bartosz Piotrcak increased the score in extra time to 2-0.
A few tens of seconds later, Tomasz Buczek scored with a touch for Chojnicianka. However, Krzysztof Brede’s side ran out of time to equalise. Staal won and will play in the final. The match will be held on June 1 in Kalisz.
