Hungary: Hollywood’s Foothold in Europe
In recent years, Hungary has become one of the favorite Hollywood movie sets in Eastern Europe. All thanks to a 30% cash discount for foreign producers, qualified domestic film crews, and cheaper production costs compared to other parts of Europe. In 2021, total film production spending in Hungary reached a record high of $650 million.
