After wearing the Superman cape for four films, actor Henry Cavill announced on his social networks that he will not be reprising the role of Clark Kent in the cinema.
The decision was made after discussions with director James Gunn and producer Peter Safran.

“Despite an announcement to the contrary in October, I will not be reprising the role of Superman. This news is not easy, but that’s life”, we read in its release.
She last appeared in the DC film Black Adams with Dwayne Johnson last October.
“A changing of the guard may happen in our midst. James and Peter have a universe to create,” he says.
He wanted to thank his fans and colleagues.

Director James Gunn clarified on his Twitter account that the decision was made because the next Superman movie will tell the story of Clark Kent when he was younger.
