The Twitter entry also announced the premieres of “Immortal Daughter” with Tilda Swinton and “Pearl” with Mia Goth. They will all be shown at this year’s Venice Festival, which begins on August 31. You will find a tweet over here.
“Whale” – what do we know about the film?
By Darren Aronofsky – director of eg “Requiem for a Dream” and “Black Swan” – “Whale” is the first fictional project after “Mother!” With Jennifer Lawrence.
This is an excerpt from a play by Samuel de Hunter. The protagonist is a savage person who eats to death. A man contacts his long-lost 17-year-old daughter and discovers that the girl is very unhappy. The Whale is about the last chance to redeem and discover beauty in the most unexpected places.
Delighted with the film, Fraser asserted in interviews last year that it “would be something we haven’t seen yet” and “it’s something completely different from what he’s done so far.”
As if these incentives were not enough, we would like to add that the project is under the supervision of production studio A24, which boasts excellent films such as “Everything at once”, “Red Rocket”, “Diamond in the Rough”, “Hereditary” or “Lighthouse”.
For Fraser, appearing in the new Aronofsky movie would be a great return to the big screen in the title role years later.
