As the portal reports, in recent days there has been an increase in Covid-19 cases in Poland. The Ministry of Health reported on December 5 that 4,175 new cases had been discovered within 24 hours. This is the highest daily number of cases in 259 days, that is, since March 21. The portal also quotes Pawel Grzyzewski, an expert at the Supreme Medical Council, as saying that the daily number of diseases and deaths is actually higher than the official statistics.
Meanwhile, a survey conducted by SW Research on behalf of rp.pl showed that the majority of Poles do not want to return to the prospect of mandatory wearing of masks in public places.
The results of the poll indicate that 54% of participants are against wearing masks, at a rate of 32.10%, and 13.90% believe that the obligation to wear them must be restored. He has no opinion on this issue.
A large percentage of those who oppose restoring the obligation to wear masks are in the age group of 25-34 years. Here 72 percent of respondents are against masks.
– Almost six in ten people (57%) have an income between PLN 3,001 and PLN 4,000 and a similar proportion (56%) of highly educated participants have the same opinion. Survey respondents from cities with populations between 20,000 and 99,000 are most likely to oppose recommitting to wearing masks in public.
