On the last day of the year – New Year’s Eve 2022 Stores will be closed earlier than usual. Some owners have decided, to compensate for the shorter opening hours on December 31st, that some outlets will be open longer than usual on Friday.
The first day of the new year falls on Sunday. This means that stores of large retail chains will be closed. This is due to the ban on trading on Sundays and holidays.
All stores will operate as normal through Monday, January 2nd.
However, please note that Friday, January 6, 2023 is the Epiphany. It’s another day when the shops close.
