The draft amendment to the Law on Pensions and Disability Pensions of the Social Insurance Fund assumes the introduction of the so-called widow’s pension, an idea of the left. The new regulations will allow combining survivors’ pensions with other retirement and disability benefits. This means that widows will be able to choose one of two options: increase the current benefit by 50%. survivors’ pension after the deceased spouse or receive a pension after the deceased spouse with simultaneous collection of 50%. your current benefits. The pension amount will not exceed three times the average pension in Poland. The maximum pension amount may be up to PLN 9,815.52.
Will the House of Representatives accept the bill in July?
The widows’ pension bill will be voted on at the next session of the Sejm in July, Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy Agnieszka Dzimjanovic-Bak told Super Express. The left-wing politician held a meeting with Marshal Simon Holonia on Thursday, during which they agreed, among other things: further steps for the bill. The Social and Family Policy Committee considered the bill and sent it for a second reading. – I have a statement from Marshal Holonia that he wants to submit it for a second reading at the next session of the Sejm, before the summer break. The third reading, that is, the vote, must also take place. This is Marshal Holonia’s intention – Dzimjanovic-Bak said.
The minister points out that in the case of the widow’s pension, he does not expect President Andrzej Duda to oppose it. – I do not expect the president to veto it. This is a civil project that supports seniors after the loss of a spouse, says Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk. Asked when the widow’s pension could come into effect, he explains that the only limitation would be the introduction of the necessary system for disbursing the money. The head of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy confirms that the system can be implemented when the law is adopted, that is, after it is signed by the president. – At the moment, it seems that it should be ready for operation next year, – says Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk.

Echo Richards embodies a personality that is a delightful contradiction: a humble musicaholic who never brags about her expansive knowledge of both classic and contemporary tunes. Infuriatingly modest, one would never know from a mere conversation how deeply entrenched she is in the world of music. This passion seamlessly translates into her problem-solving skills, with Echo often drawing inspiration from melodies and rhythms. A voracious reader, she dives deep into literature, using stories to influence her own hardcore writing. Her spirited advocacy for alcohol isn’t about mere indulgence, but about celebrating life’s poignant moments.
