Michał Buchalik, who terminated his contract with Wisła Kraków after eight years, returns to Gdańsk. Previously, the club represented from the seaside in 2011-13.

For Michał Buchalik, it’s a return to Lechia Gdańsk. – I’m going back to Lycia and I’m very happy about that. I’m also glad we were able to finish everything before Christmas. I’m starting a new chapter here and it’s all in front of me. The football player said in an interview with the official Lechia website: I want to help Lechia in the game to get the highest positions in Ekstraklasa and with my presence to increase the competition in the goal.

Pochalik comes from the city of Rybnik. With a height of 190 cm, he began his career in the first class with the colors of Odra Wodzisław. He played with Lechia from the 2011/12 season, and later played with Ruch Chorzów. From the summer of 2014, he played with Wisla Krakow and played 92 matches in the PKO Ekstraklasa.

– When I found out that it was possible to play for Lechia, I didn’t think long. I am absolutely convinced that this is a very good decision. Now that the contract is signed, I’m going back to my family for Christmas. I’m in contact with the goalkeeper coach Lechia Bawech Bremmel and I’ve already received training recommendations for this break. However, I am looking forward to the first joint training with the team – added Bochalik.
