Polish volleyball players will play Turkey in the quarter-finals of the European Championship.
The qualifying stage for the European Volleyball Championship is now underway. The 1/8 finals matches, which will determine the top eight in the tournament, will be held from Saturday to Monday. Learn about the quarter-final matches at the 2023 European Volleyball Women’s Championship
The French national volleyball team qualified for the quarter-finals of the European Championship 2023, by defeating Romania 3-1 in the 8/1 final. And they will play in the next round against Italy, which beat Spain 3-0.

The Netherlands national volleyball team defeated Switzerland 3-0 in Florence. In the quarter-finals they will play against Bulgaria, which turned the tide of the final match 1/8 with Slovakia. The Bulgarians were losing 0:2, but they equalized the match, and in the tie-break they defeated their rivals 15:9.
The Turkish national team defeated Belgium 3-1 in Brussels after a fierce match. The winners of this year’s Nations League will play the event’s bronze medalists in the next match. Poland qualified for the quarter-finals of EuroVolley 2023 after beating Germany 3-0.
The last pair of quarter-finals will be decided by Monday’s matches between Serbia, Sweden, the Czech Republic and Ukraine.
The European Championship quarter-finals will be played on Tuesday 29 August (in Florence) and Wednesday 30 August (in Brussels).
