Last year, Microsoft launched a months-long project on the new Xbox Series X | Dashboard S and Xbox One. Working with the community has identified a number of important details that will be brought up in the near future. The company has completed testing the New Xbox Home Experience.
In September, Microsoft invited gamers to check out the new Xbox slate. The company still wants to offer a single console for both generations of consoles, so the upcoming news will appeal to many fans of the American company.
Today Microsoft decided to end testing of the new Xbox Home and thanked gamers for their cooperation. Ivy Krislov (Senior Product Manager, Xbox Experiences) confirmed this. Players can expect “bigger updates” to be released soon.
We want to thank everyone who participated in the months of testing. Today we’re pausing testing to prepare for major updates we’ll be releasing soon. This means that Xbox Insiders Alpha and Alpha-Skip users who used the Home beta will switch back to the Xbox Home they originally used.
The Microsoft representative mentioned an important detail – Microsoft has listened to feedback regarding the top of the list. This is where society expects more space to enjoy their art, and obviously we can count on the changes that will be made.
The company is working to “balance experience, accessibility, functionality and community needs” while Microsoft wants to provide a breath of fresh air to use the new homepage.
More details and updates soon.
